'75 Moto Guzzi Eldorado (ex-LAPD)
This is a real ex-LAPD Eldo (note the siren bracket) that's been civilianized and unloved. One of the last batch ever (1 of 131 built in Sept. '74 and delivered in early '75). The plan is to do a complete engine rebuild (with 88mm Gilardoni "big-bore" cylinders for 949cc), reseal the trans. and rear drive, install fresh tires, rebuild the front brakes and do whatever else is needed to the chassis. Also planned is a return to LAPD specification with solo seat, windshield, spot lights, rear crashbars and "lollipop" turn signals. Basically, make it a reliable runner with all original cosmetics. Hopefullly for sale in the Fall of '08.
'74 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport
Work commences soon on this V7 Sport once owned by me. Only real change planned from stock specification is the frame color - it will be red instead of black.
