Test fitting the countershaft mounted brake disc, caliper and bracket. Measuring to make the necessary spacers which are missing.

Frame cleaned and the nickel plating hand polished. Mmm, shiny. Yellow tube is so you can see the oil level at a glance.

Tried to put the frame onto the engine like I did with the KTM 504 frame - works about half the way. You still have to set it upright and lift the (98 lb.) engine in the rest of the way.

A slight snag - the front mount on the frame kits the starter motor mount. A little clearancing with the die grinder was necessary.

Then I was missing the spacers for the front mounting bolt. One is 14mm thick and the other 8mm. Used a chunk of 3/4

Then I was missing the spacers for the front mounting bolt. One is 14mm thick and the other 8mm. Used a chunk of 3/4" 6061 aluminum to make those on the lathe.

Made the missing spacers to mount the caliper bracket and plugged the oil pressure sender hole (the sender would hit the bracket).
