Level and drain plug holes are stripped too and will need to be repaired. Throw-out bearing bore of cover is "wallered out" (that's a technical term! :-)) and will need to be repaired or the cover replaced.

Checking the blow-off pressure of the oil pressure relief valve. As found it wouldn't hold any pressure - not even 5 psi. Engine must have been running very low oil pressure as a result. Maybe why the oil pump was in such bad condition? No matter what I did the pressure wouldn't come up - finally just replaced the whole assembly with a good used one.
