Sparkplugs and caps installed

Replacing the front crank seal. Timing chest cleaned and ready for reassembly.

Timing cover cleaned and the new seal installed.

Done. New generator belt installed, timing marks painted.

Pulled the engine sump for inspection and cleaning. Looks pretty good.

Some build-up of sludge, but not bad.

Cleaned and ready to reinstall.

I pull the mufflers as a unit.

Greasey! Driven splines are worn to approx. 50% of original width.

Brake drum has some accumulation of greasey dust.

The shoes are slightly contaminated as well. An incorrect spring has been fitted and will need to be replaced.

Drive splines look very good, just need cleaning and regreasing.

Input splines are in good condition...
